Late to the party.

So … I’ve watched the PRX from afar. And have finally pulled the trigger - now I’m an integrated bracelet fan but not a fan of butterfly clasps.

This has changed my mind somewhat & im enjoying the feel & style of this watch - I was tempted to go auto but for the extra cost I can’t justify the powermatic80

If it were a high beat as well as nicely decorated movement like my clemence photic - then it would be worth the extra outlay. But to be nearly 50% more in price.

That ain’t gonna work for me.

Any other PRX owners here , what’s your thoughts ?

I have the PRX Auto…don’t think you can go wrong either way.

Nice one! Looks good on ya, tho integrated bracelet/Genta style watches dont tickle my pickle personally.

I had the same dilemma when deciding what PRX to buy back shirt after the 40 mm Powermatic 80 release in 2021. Would have gladly bought the quartz version, but the waffle dial on the auto, and the fact that it was my first Swiss auto at that point, made me dish out the money.

No matter if auto or quartz, the PRX is a beast of a watch for the price!

Same thoughts as you. I think I would've sprung for the auto though for the waffle dial. Congrats on the purchase though

The bracelet is the only reason i dont have a prx,,i like to change straps quite regularly

The quartz one ain’t as Sophisticated as the Auto , however - this may just be YouTube watch propaganda.

Seemingly a powermatic 80 cannot be regulated?

I also went with the quartz. I was thinking of going auto but decided to use the spare money and buy an Alpinist 2 months later 😂

My main gripes with the watch is due to lack of micro adjustment, Watch just doesn’t fit comfortably on my wrist. Either too loose or too tight. I guess you can tell it’s a 350$ watch due to how unsubstantial it feels and the lack of proper finishing on the bracelets. It just feels too rough for me. What -icks me about it is the Powermatic 80 has the same finishing, hence having the same faults as the base model. I love the looks of the watch, but I wish the bracelet was just better done.

I think the quartz has its charm. I wasn’t a fan of the waffle dial of the Powermatic 80, it just kinda looked tacky (for me).
