Be careful what you covet.

I recently received my Rdunae slim turtle - the hype around them on YT by the various watch reviewers always held this brand In high regard.

Yes the build quality is good & the gilt hands / dial is something of a nice touch among a sea of samey homages.

My only gripe: the movement (NH35) seems to be running at Mach 1 !!

Disappointing as the supposition goes that these are finely regulated before shipping.

Not the end of the world , but this brand has been held up there with the likes of San Martin - I did expect better.

I’m guessing movement magnetized. Could be cheap fix if so. Demagnatizers are fairly inexpensive

I'd make sure it wasn't magnetized before going through the hassle of return.

I have two Rdunaes, and both run great. Both are some of my favorite watches to wear. I'm guessing yours got magnetized during shipping? It happens. Keep us updated if you get it resolved.

I suspect that may be the case , it’ll be sorted soon.

How fast exactly is it running?

Sorry, I commented before reading the others, who already mentioned magnetization. I would be surprised if it wasn't that. The other thing would be if it possibly suffered a hard drop somewhere along the way. I work in the shipping industry, and unfortunately these things occur from time to time. Did you buy it from AliExpress, or directly from WR Watches? I purchased both from WR, and they were very friendly and responsive, although it's been a few years now. It is Lunar New Year right now, though, so companies may be out of office for a bit. If you have access, I would definitely try to demag it first before dealing with a return.

In the region of + ten min per day

That does seem well out of spec, even for a Seiko movement.
