In the end no :/ I think it will be a cool watch but I decided that pre-orders are still not the way to go. If I don’t like the watch I’m not sure what they’d do with returns etc. I’ll wait for reviews 😁

That watch you picked tell me that you’re probably into dive style watches 😅 I wear a Casio Oceanus and the statement that it makes is that I like high tech stuff that’s also a bit dressier 😁

That’s not much no 😅but yeah the leftmost one is my orient. These are 5 minutes after charging.

Orient -> Casio S100, seiko Flieger (forgot the model number)

After 5 hours the Casio is the brightest

Camera can barely pick up the Casio there, I can see both just fine with my eyes though

I had a feeling that orient shouldn’t be bought for the lume and I think only their divers can be considered good in that regard 👍🏽

I have an orient “trooper”, the lume on that one looks like it’s applied similarly and I can read it just fine after 4-5 hours in the night when the kid wakes up 😅

Or do you mean the initial brightness?

Nice review. I just saw the V2 preorder and I like how they did the sand which dial a lot. The only thing I’m still hesitant on is the lume. For the price, I wonder if it beats watches from Phoibos and boldr. I’m still fairly new to collecting so I’m trying to do as much research as possible before I get my first diver watch 😁

At the moment I cannot justify spending much more than 1000€ on a watch. I also collect pocket knives and I think the most expensive pocket knife I own is worth around 550€.

For me they are all collectibles, but also tools. And I intend to use my tools. I would feel bad for damaging something that’s more expensive than I could replace 😅

I bought it last year, after wanting one for 5. Still looks as good today as it did when I first saw it 😁 cheers 🍻
