Also not a fan but if pushed I’d pick stainless with the blue bezel. No doubt over priced nonsense

I know, it’s in great shape, it’s had a replacement crown stem and crown, but that’s it, I was brought up to look after my stuff , thanks mam and dad!

It’s very special to me

I can also recommend the addiesdive pilot watch suggested above, I’ve owned it for a while and it’s superb value and an excellent all rounder, good looking, nice size, sapphire crystal, nh35 movement, decent enough bracelet. Buy it on Ali express and you will get it for less than £50 usually, absolute bargain and a great way to experience an automatic watch for the first time

Ha, ie Seiko as a gada, obviously not garage…….predictive text rocks !

commented on Consolidating ·

Hi there, for me the Seiko as a garage, the cadison diver and the casio countdown timer as the beater, nice!

commented on NH35 Accuracy - Surprised!! 😎 ·

I have the white dial version of this watch, and loads more that have this movement and they run great, I’m sure every so often a dud will slip through the net, luckily I haven’t got one yet

commented on Which watch did you previously own that you still think about on the regular? ·

Yes, I owned a 1992 Tudor sub 79090 in blue, for about 20 years, I sold it about a decade ago and cringe now when I see what they are changing hands for. I had a seamaster 300 professional at the time and wasn’t wearing the Tudor very often, but I’ve missed the damn thing ever since, as an aside, I wouldn’t pay the inflated prices to replace it….that’s life, these days I love Chinese homage watches, variety is the spice of life !
