Started watching watch reviews on YouTube and got into the rabbit hole
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The very first would be a Scooby Doo digital watch from Wal-Mart as a kid
As a serious collector, it was the Casio F-91W
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My Lorier Neptune Series III. Got it as a birthday present from a childhood friend
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Do your research, don't buy impulsively and do it for yourself (not to impress others)
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Grand Seiko, Longines, Cartier, Tudor, Christopher Ward, Hamilton, Zodiac
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I have a couple:
OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch: Awesome history and timeless design
Grand Seiko Spring Drive: Beautiful dials, Zaratsu finishing and the Spring Drive movement
Cartier Tank: Beautiful dress watch and one of the early pioneers of the men's wristwatch
Rolex Explorer 36mm: A non flashy Rolex and I love 3 6 9 dials
Tudor Black Bay 54: The closest we will ever get to a reissue of the Rolex Submariner 6538 (gotta put the Connery RAF strap with it too)
Longines Zulu GMT: What a beautiful GMT watch that won't break the bank (from a luxury watch standpoint)
