Yes, there is no other option. Tudor wouldn't want that watch sent out like that. It's bad for business. Were scratches included in the watch description? I wouldn't accept a Timex quartz with scratches like that.
I started with an Eliot Brown Holden Professional field watch. It is quartz. My first automatic is my Seiko SARB035. Lovely watch; first step towards a snowflake GS.
I had a modified SKX007 but gave it to my grandson-in-law. I liked my Long Island Watch Islander better.
