Seiko SPB381. Love this watch. Was a risk for me as I wasn’t sure I would like the sunburst dial. I’ve always been more of a matte man but the risk paid off. I also very much like the angled case with its huge polished bevels. One thing this watch doesn’t do well in my opinion is take straps, the barrel of the case is hugely high and to my eye it looks weird. Fortunately the bracelet is wonderful and the centre links have polished… interior surfaces? Not against the wrist but rather between each other. There’s lots of stuff going on even if I can’t accurately describe it. A great companion to my blue SPB297 which is a strap monster.

I’ve had my SPB383 for not even 24 hours and it exceeded my expectations. These look so great in person.
And despite my comments about straps that looks amazing on that strap. I might just need one of those!
