I just wanted to give a quick side by side comparison of two generations of Admirals.
Both of these pieces are magnificent in their own way. Very different from each other, but also very similar. And both are still relevant today!
Maybe we will see some true reissues one day?

Beautiful and minimalist.
Don't have an Admiral. Closest is this 70s Omega Genève.

Magnificent piece! What are its dimensions? How does it run?
That is a magnificent piece!
Longines seems to have some interesting complications! My older version above has a quick set date feature where you press in on the crown and the date advances with every press.

It's 36mm. Runs well at 28,800vph which was unusual in the 70s.
It has the Omega 1020 movement, which fixed all the problems which the Omega 1000 had. But because it's still part of the 1000 series, it's still tainted by association. Which means they're cheap. 😁

Now I have to have one!
That is a lovely watch! I am new to Longines, but it was the uniqueness and style that pulled me in.

What is the reference #? I’m definitely going to start looking for one.
Longines makes great watches.
