I love couples watches
Hello everybody,
Making this post so that everybody here can admire these vintage Seiko "tanks" with me . They are gold plated and I love how they come in a pair. These were my parents wedding watches which were gifted to them . Now I am thinking of gifting the smaller one to my girlfriend so that we can wear these together. I love the concept of wearing similar watches to your partner. I also like the unique shape and dial of these particular models. Any of you got similar watches ?

Several years ago, well before I was interested in watches, my wife needed a new watch and she had decided on a rectangular Citizen Eco-Drive. Even though I didn't need a watch at the time, I've always loved the look of rectangular watches, so I decided to get one for myself at that same time. Hers is long gone, but being the pack rat I am, I still have mine, even though it no longer works. I still love the look of the watch.
If I were you, and assuming that the watch holds sentimental value to you, I'd be careful about gifting the watch to your girlfriend unless you're fairly confident that you want to spend the rest of your life with her.
Not the same style at all but I also like the idea of a his and a hers 🙂
