Crazy how much the PAM (44mm) dwarfs the Exp II โ€ฆ this is definitely the absolute limit. PS: The joys of a three-day power reserve on both watches ๐Ÿ˜

Damn! I find my Explorer II on the cusp of being too big for me. I guess that rules out a Panerai for me!

Great looking watch

I felt the same about this 44mm PAM until I tried it onโ€ฆbut that being said, the 42mm PAMs are perfect for my 6.75โ€ wrist, shame that they discontinued them โ€” however you can find them on the secondary market for a steal. If youโ€™re smaller than 6.5โ€ then the 40mm Quarantas may suit you better. I would not recommend the 44s for wrists smaller than mine, that may look cartoonish.

I'm pretty much the same wrist size as you, so that's encouraging

Give the 42s a look โ€” those are a perfect fit; thereโ€™s a GMT with a hobnail dial thatโ€™s gorgeous, think itโ€™s a 5135 or 5137, canโ€™t remember off the top at the moment.
