I like it so much. This got personality.
Id buy that used watch.
Also, it look much more French in style.
Also, my book 'How to alienate Italians' is on sale for the holidays.
It's wacky. I wouldn't care about the original.
Or the fact that there is an original to begin with.
I know because i don't care.
It's wacky and i thinks its cool for the price.
It's a good watch. I said in a review that, as is often the case at those prices, the metal bracelet is not as good as the watch itself. My main worry was that i didn't see the clasp lasting in time, a bit flimsy, 10 years seem like a serious stretch. But i have change my mind a bit. It's better than i thought and the whole bracelet keep staying comfortable in time. Nothing got loose*, no weird noise, not even a slight annoyance and no serious scratch too despite being 'my' main bracelet for the last 4-5 months. Its now on a Sugess 1901, a mismatch too if i've seen one but it work (unlike the rubber strap that started this thread)
* i did lots of links adjustements, screws were remove and screwed back as is.
Im so happy to see Islander watches more and more. Especially this one, im still a sucker for chronograph. Thought it might be a noob thing but after 11 months, it look like its here to stay 😂
