Odds and ends

Some random watch photos I’ve not managed to post.

1. Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Cylindrical Tourbillon. This is a hand painted enamel dial, with the Sistine Chapel painstakingly recreated. The bezel is set with diamonds, as is the crown. This was viewed at an event at the JLC boutique on Bond Street. We got hands on with another 1 of 1 version of this with a totally diamond set dial, case and bracelet. Only the tourbillon was free from being diamond encrusted. Absolutely mad levels of wealth!

2. Piaget Polo chronograph. Probably my least favourite of the Polos I got to try on. Still itching to post the new 150th anniversary editions of the Polo for watches and wonders, but alas they’re still under photo embargo.

3. BVOR. Admittedly I had to check the list of brands in attendance at British Watchmakers Day to remember this brand. They do have a nice blue PVD coating. On looking them I spotted they sponsor a Formula 4 driver which is cool.

4. Sidereus. An Irish brand who managed to sneak into British Watchmakers Day. Between this and Nomadic, I was hoping they’d grip me a little more. Their moonphases are quite nice!

5. Vertex brought a motorbike, so that’s pretty sweet. Shoutout to them though, they gave us all little UV illuminators at their Mayfair boutique on a visit!
