My grail watch- is it game over?
I couldn’t afford this watch when it was released and readily available. I took a hot second to find it brand new at AD. It’s here, it’s mine. Job done.
My grail watch - Omega Seamaster 1948 70th Anniversary Limited Edition.
I’m happy but it feels strange. The chase is over, what’s next?
What is your story with getting your grail? Did you also got this awkward feeling in the stomach?

But to offer advice I got from an older and wiser watch collector long ago....

Love that watch, was available at my ad’s for the longest time, no interest was going to buy a few other watches first by the time I inquired some other Omega collector made a small down payment on the watch. Not sure if a new one is available but there is always another watch to buy.
Congratulations! I also got a similarly mixed feeling when I got my last watch. Several months later, I have moved out of that phase and now I am just content whenever I look down at my wrist. Having attained something I never thought I’d be able to, the pressure is off a bit and I feel like I can now relax and focus my attention on just having fun in the hobby and experimenting with new brands and styles.
