What a beautiful thing. They really new how to do elegance back then. Silly question but do you just keep it in your pocket for the day Peter?
Thank you Chris. The movement is a joy to look at.
Not a silly question at all. In general my pocket watch is in my pocket when on duty. But considering that the old lady is useless as a beater, I put her aside when the activity calls for something more durable. That means, I only wear it on office days.

Oh wow 🤩 it puts modern movements to shame in terms of decoration. Absolutely stunning.
That looks so classy and elegant Peter! I don't have any pocket watch in my collection but I was always wanted one. Yours is just so inspiring 😍
Thank you Kostas.
Even if they are unpractical in this day and age, the winding, the loud ticking (well, mine are) and they are wonderful to hold. A few days ago Joe @Universal_Lee wrote...it feels like a pebble in the palm. That, to me is one of the major aspects. That and pocket watches just get me ticking. 😀
