Question: Is this a misprint on the date or dust?
Hi, this is a newly bought watch and I just noticed that only the number 14 on the date wheel is not right. Is is a misprint or dust?

Looks a misprint to me but what do I know…..I have to get a magnifying glass to quality check my new watches so don’t take my word for it when I can only see yours on my phone 😂

I would if it were me because something like that would do my head in, and it’s obviously a fault and nothing caused by you.
It's funny, but all of us are different in terms of what we can and cannot take, right?
If it were my watch, and there were a misprint or a dust particle, it wouldn't bother me at all.
But, every single time I go to the grocery store, and those f*cking idiot baggers stick EVERYTHING into the bag so that all the groceries are sticking out of the top, like this...
... so, now, I can't use the handles, I fantasize about doing this all over the store...
I would if it were me because something like that would do my head in, and it’s obviously a fault and nothing caused by you.

Ah, now that brings a new perspective to it……🤔
Maybe not return then. Suppose a way round it is to ignore the date window one day every month or, if you’ve got a few watches on rotation, NEVER wear it on the 14th 😂

It's definitely a misprint. I'd consider returning it depending on how much it ran you -- it'd drive my OCD BONKERS.

I was quite bothered by it, but I was thinking that this is a limited edition. It's like when collecting currencies, if there's a misprint it's rare. But, I will still talk to them about it.

Yeah! I'll speak with my local AD about this and let's see what they can do about it.
An update: I can have it checked with an authorized service center. Because it is still under warranty. They can send it for service for free but it would take months because Certina doesn't have a local service center where I live they need to send it elsewhere. Anyway, I'll be traveling a few months from now so maybe I can have it checked there myself, and maybe it would be a quick fix.
