A lot of pondering was done in the wee hours this morning as I tried to decide which watch to wear at the end of my first year on the Crunch. I've had a couple of new pieces join my meager collection in the last few months and initially I was considering one of them to round off 2023. In the end though I decided to go with the very first watch I posted on WRUW, and so we have an old favourite. A 35mm 1976 Timex made in Scotland.. just like me.
It's also relevant as it's the last day for participating in Hakki's Black and White Christmas, and believe it or not my choice for the day is actually in colour.. or at least I haven't converted it to monochrome.
I would like to wish all my dear friends here a merry New Year's Eve and a happy and prosperous 2024 with lots of new watches to play with 🤓

I'm sorry to hear your not well Ben. Hope it's nothing too serious. Richard Perrett is addictive isn't he. I can probably blame him for my interest in watches. One day I happened across one of his videos by accident and I couldn't turn it off. I had zero interest in watches but his soft spoken dialogue and unbelievable skill, fascinated me.
