Does WC support Markdown lang in posts/comments?

Title, basically. I was trying to send a link with custom text and couldn't get it to work.

Is there something in the UI that I'm missing that allows this?

Any guidance appreciated.

If so, you write the comment first, highlight it, click on the link icon below, and paste the link into the pop-up. Editing it afterwards isn't straightforward so I tend to delete and redo.
