THOUGHTS PLEASE

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE:

I have just purchased the San Martin Tudor clone from the San Martin website for an all in price of $269. I have not owned a San Martin before but I have seen good things about them from such respected sites as WatchChris who does an excellent job hitting desired details and getting his point across as well as Just One More Watch who does the same.

Yes the prices is great, it is an homage watch I get that I just want to know it will be in line with the rest of my collection and I wont be looking to move on from it or give it no wrist time

A SIDE NOTE:

I am waiting on a JDM all black Seiko solar Arnie with a three register chronograph (looking forward big time on that one)  I hate this hobby :) thanks for your input

I have only heard good things about San Martin and I can't say that about Tudor.  Good choice and good luck with your new watch.

THANKS LOOKING FORWARD

I have multiple Tudor and San Martin (SM) watches.  SM has phenomenal finishing for the money.  They deliver a great product in comparison to other homages but they are far from Tudor watches.  For instance, I have a Tudor BB58 blue and the finishing is next level.  No comparison with the movements either.  The Tudor movement is one of the smoothest I own and the 70 hour power reserve is impressive.  Truth is, I love the Tudor brand and SM.  They both have a place in my watch box.

Enjoy that new SM.  Not sure which version you ordered but I think you'll be impressed.  I'll dig up a few SM pictures for you with the watches I recently received from the 11.11 sale.  Hopefully that will hold you over until it arrives ... LOL.

BB58 - bezel is crazy good.  SM does not come close.  Not the best pictures but posted for hand comparison.  I’m assuming your SM has the same handset.
