Omega Boutique Closed? Other doors opened….
Now the closest Omega dealer is 3 hours away…so I tried on some Breitlings. Wow do I wish the Navitimer had even 10 Bar water resistance.

Breitlings are solid watches and I really like the Chronomat line- but whew, their SRP price points rival Omega and Rolex and I don't see it. @WaterandWatches What were you thoughts on the pricing?
@Salty1 completely agree with your sentiment. My next purchase most likely will be an Omega 300m, but I’m willing to be sold on something different. Loved the Breitling new dial color, I believe they call it “Blue Ice”. For 6k I could find many other watches I’d rather have. If it was 3k I may have walked out of the store with it on my wrist.
Breitling doesn’t seem to be a great value at first glance but the designs are unique enough and the finishing nice enough that it’s still a solid buy if you really want any particular model.
This is the way of luxury in general. If you love it and want it, it’s worth the price because it’s only money, right?
@Davemcc agreed and the watches were beautiful. But not the specs I am looking for at the price that was being asked. I’m so glad I went in though, pictures do not do the Breitling catalog justice.
I'm always disappointed when a watch that should be 10 bar is far less.
