Exceptional lume

I posted about a week ago that I received my Steeldive “Captain Willard” style watch. I’ve said before that lume isn’t a deal breaker for me or really even a concern. I do appreciate a good one though.

I’ve seen in reviews how good the lume on steeldives are. Owning the watch and seeing the lume in real life however, it is genuinely quite impressive!

Given how rarely I need my watch in low light (I have stood in a dark room to see this) it’s still nice to know it’s there if I want it.

The watch in question.

That really is a great #lume shot.

I know you've said you don't have a real use for it, but any idea how long the glow lasts?

Honestly no. Was still legible to tell the time after 40 mins though. That was without any attempt to charge it.

Yeah, my Steeldive Ploprof has the best lume of my collection (better than Willard, Seamaster and Laco!! )

Not only is it bright, it’s perfectly even in brightness all the way around. Definitely impressive
