Waiting for lunch..

My first watch purchase made a couple months ago. Learning about the skx007 and probably mistankingly buying one without learning all the weird quarks that can be with them. Misalignment woes etc.. Regardless. Still love it and have bought several straps for it already. What’s next?

I own many watches in all price ranges to include the SKX. For all the quirks it's a super comfortable case and great design. My SKX will never leave the collection.

For my first I love it. Will stay with me forever. My next one might be from @TheyCallMeT he has a bulova I’ve fallen in love with. I said it!

I'm gonna hold it for you and drop the price a bit so you can buy it when you get permission from the wife! ;)

I have tons of watches and the skxoo7 is my favorite. I did change almost everything though. Kept the original case. Put in new movment so it hacks and hand winds, then replaced the crystal with saphire. Changed out the chapter ring to a ghost ring and then gave it a S crown. Changed the bezel to coin edge and then the insert to ceramic. Finally topped it off with an uncle seiko strap. Nothing is original but the dial and case but its now the perfect size shape and specs in my opinion.

after the Skx, you will find the need to have also a dress piece - and you will discover the Presage series, after that you will “need” a sport watch and the Alpinist is the obvious choice … and then, after Seiko will get you hooked on horologerie you wil discover the swiss … and the micro-brands and the germans …. it’s a slippery slope :)

Dude that’s sick. I have the basics kit from Amazon to change links etc. I feel like quite the horologist…
