Omega SMP 300M 2254.50

This was a special one. After a couple of years of no significant purchases, I decided to pull the trigger on this SMP reference. I managed to ship it from Japan and it was in excellent condition. The Omega service center in Bahrain managed to get me the adjustable clasp from another model and the combination made this wear like a dream.

That would be amazing! Slim down those movements Omega!

I was gifted this watch in 2000. It was purchased at the airport in Australia after the Olympics. It was some sort of Omega pop-up shop and they were looking to clear out the inventory. It’s a special piece for me.

Thank you! I love your speedy as well! The clasp is a must!

Love mine. On my wrist currently 👍. Gonna have to look into the clasp change. That’s the only downside to the bracelet. Had mine since 2001

I bought it when I turned 30. My first nice watch. Also bought a modern SMP a couple of years ago when I turned 50. These will always be keepers 👍

Thanks for the clasp info.

Lovely. I'd go for the Quartz model with the 5 link. Great to see you got the adjust clasp fitted.

·

The 2254.50 is my favorite SMP 300. I love how slim the case is, and those sword hands.😍 Congrats on picking one up!🍻

Good old Japanese dealers. Got almost 10-15 watches shipped from Japan. Not only good prices but you get watches in mint condition and if polished even this was done great.

·

I love omegas, 🤩

·

Love the Seamaster from this era, the case and the design is still relevant after 20 years. I’m in the same boat for the illfitting bracelet. Hopefully the adjustable clasp will work out.
