Tudor Prices going up on January 1, 2024

Got an email from the AD this morning telling me that the prices are going up on January 1rst. This happened on the same date last year.

Yeah that's right. Rolex did the same I seem to remember. Something like 2-3%. And Omega was similar.

Tudor used to be really good value for money. Not sure we can say that about them so much nowadays.

I wonder if they will go up as much to start matching prices to the lower end of the Rolex scale. Each brands have their own followers so it could be possible.

That wouldn't surprise me although I'd think they'll keep a discernable gap to avoid muddying the waters between the two brands.

Since the prices of Rolex have risen to sums above what most people can or are prepared to spend on a watch, Tudor are being positioned to pick up that slack in my opinion. Their two tone silver & gold Black Bay 36/39/41 with the Jubilee style bracelet is the Rolex Datejust of the current day.

Black Bay 36/39/41 with the Jubilee style is a nice watch. I would not mind having the blue version however I already own 3 Tudors. How many snowflakes should one have in their watch box ? 🙂

I'd be happy with one to start with, that & a Skyflake. I doubt there's an affordable alternative as beautiful as these 2 dials.
