My new vintage a-Alpha

This is my third alpha watch I have purchased this month. Not sure of the date yet. I will post pic’s below when I pop the case back. I purchased the inexpensive ones first to look for quality craftsmanship. It is definitely there. All stainless steel, ( some were plated) Waterproof marking, old times Swiss movement prob 18,800 beat rate. 17 jewel automatic incablac. The dails are all very good. I don’t know what they used, enamel maybe? My Omega aged much worse over time. Anyway I a fan.

My guess is that it is going to be a A.S. 1580. That is a sharp 1950's Alpha.

Inside watchback says made in France Transat Trading Company. Several service codes. Alstater Watch Co. on the rotor.
