I discovered Bell & Ross as a college student and fell in love with the rugged pilot aesthetic. I couldn’t afford an actual watch and so I instead purchased a really poor replica off of a forum in the days before Ali Express. I loved that watch and actually still have it even though the components are rusting through.
A few years later I cobbled up enough to purchase a genuine used Bell & Ross Vintage and it’s all been downhill from there.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Probably a generic version of Casio as a kid. I remember being super jealous of those rich kids proudly sporting the calculator watch.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Nomos, Farer, Christopher Ward
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I feel like my two IWCs are the best watches I’ll ever have.
Maybe if money was no object, I’d pick up the Speedy Snoopy in Space in a heartbeat.
