Mini Duro versus Everyone. What's that common saying on here, 'wear what you like.' Let's see how that holds up?

First off, I like his watch. Seems no one else does. I don't care. Yes you Youtubers and naysayers. I like the Mini Duro for the very reason you hate it: its small and suits my 6.5" wrist, its water rating is low (don't care), and its counter to everything the original Duro is- that's the thing I never owned an original Duro as those frisbee-things are huge on me and the overhang was evident, so never owned one. So u can see from the photos, this watch fits me. So yes its you and me, baby. Us against the World. And yes (everyone) wear what you love:)

I think it only rubs people the wrong way because a lot of people have wanted a smaller duro for ages, and Casio definitely could've made just that. Instead they changed some things for seemingly little to no reason, which felt like a completely wasted opportunity to many. I don't know of a bad Casio, so the mini duro mostly dissapoints in comparison to the duro, which is a pretty absurd value proposition. If the duro never existed, no one would "hate on" the mini. It's fine, and if you don't care about the things people generally consider its negatives, then it's a great option for the price.

Yep - love the watch, love the look, want the watch but desperately disappointed with the specs.

V glad you’ve found each other though - there’s someone out there for everyone.

It suffers in the same as the Moonswatch. It's biggest issue is it could have been better.

I like the concept of a smaller "Duro" for sure ... but no "fishy" on the dial! ... like you I have a 6-1/2" wrist and oddly my standard issue MDV-106 Duro (with the "fishy") fits me just fine?!

In fact I'm wearing mine today! 👍

Do I wish the OG Duro was smaller? Yes

Does it keep me from wearing it? No 😆 (6.5" too)

Do I like the smaller Duro? Yes

Do I care about "WR"? Long as it's greater than 5", no.

For me, I want the fishy dial tho 😂.

Im not worried for u guys, the next version at 39-40mm will be released. Casio is a business and this grade-walk or midsized is in their arsenal. Like they did with the Casioaks: now at mini-sized, a mid-, and regular so their cadence on those were 40, 42, 44 with the GA2100 coming first and working backwards. Casio knows business and loves their money. Its coming.

Ive collected for years so Im happy, this effort is a nice looking quartz banger, well made and good points made. Glad I didnt have a frame of reference to go off of then.

I think fans of the duro (myself included) have bigger wrists else they would not be into the 44mm MDV-106. So the drastic size change didn’t help built enthusiasm for the MDV-10.

Sorry getting to comments late due to busy sales close month (yes! Good Feb sales!). Thx for your comments Bobby I too am a Casio fan and I just know what fits me. Like a good suit or good shoes. I wear what fits me. Original Duro is a great value watch for sure.

"U guys"? I've got a 8.5" wrist and love the 44mm. I also like it's 200m water resistance. 😉

Still loving this Mini Duro.

Such a versatile sized watch to wear to the office and under a cuff or be casual and wear with jeans and a tee.
