Grand vs King

It's it me? I feel like this should be an easy choice but this damn KS Case... I feel like if the 44gs case came at a more affordable package this consideration wouldn't even exist.

OP, it’s possible to get a new 44GS case Grand Seiko for KS pricing. If you want, I can introduce you to my broker - he can offer hefty discount off MSRP, plus overnight FedEx, and “out of state” sales tax treatment.

Don’t compromise. If 44GS case is what you want, get it. The great thing about GS is that you can get them with good discounts, new, full 5-year warranty, if you know where to look!

If you do not care about the movement the KS is a nicer looking. I heard some people here complain about their KS loosing time. For me to be honest I use a different watch daily so it does not matter too much.

Personally I like the Grans Seiko better design wise and it’s to my understanding that Grand Seiko is considered a step up for Seiko isn’t it?

As per the new hierarchy yes, GS is higher.

I've always been a bit currious about King Seiko. GS is the top range Seiko, but price wise, King Seiko can often overlap over Presage series
