Good morning fellow watch enthusiast did you know Seven Friday? Back then when i am still study at college (dont give a sht about watch) there was a popular watch brand that everybody was talking about it, it is Seven Friday.

A few of my buddies own it. First when i take a look at it i think it was cool, design is like panerai do some colaboration with richard mille at lower pricepoint. dial looks complicated, skeletonized, and well finished. i like to look at the watch, but when i try to put it on my wrist it feels teribble. its too big, too loud. From that point i guess there is two type of watch which is:

  1. wristwatch that looks good to look but not to wear like sevenfriday, corum, richard mille (no offense its just my opinion)
  2. wristwatch that looks normal but wear good on the wrist (basically any watch that made by traditional watch maker)

And then a few years later when im become interested abot watchcollecting i started watching youtube, etc and then i recalled about seven friday watch but its like nobody talk about it. i dig deeper to the online forum and instagram and its like everybody kinda hated it. they labelled it as overpriced b*llshit swiss watch with miyota movement manufactured in hongkong. so eberybody dont take "swiss" label on seven friday watch seriously. so what is you guys tough about seven friday? did you ever heard it? did you guys hate it? whats the demographic market for this watch? personally i think its a cool funky watch to look at, but not to wear. cheers🍺
