Sickass nato!

So I’m looking to add a military watch to the collection now and I asked for suggestions on an earlier post and I’ve got a lot of brands to research now. One thing I came across though that doesn’t require any more research. What strap I’m putting on it! That’s Blackbeard the pirates flag also, the unofficial insignia seal team six. I believe the companies name is Alpha Zulu correct me if I’m wrong. Excellent quality but it comes in at a premium price. Hey if you’re gonna spend a decent amount of money on a watch, shouldn’t you put it on the best, coolest most durable, strongest strap you can find?

I don't think I've ever seen that style of buckle/tail closure on a watch. I kind of like it.

·

I like the red center stitching.

·

Love that Pirate themed Zulu strap! Quite pricey...but I'm thinking about it...

·

Zulu Alpha is legit.

Favorite strap maker bar none for me. Look at my past WRUW, I have several, with more on the way lol.

I’ve got a graveyard of straps and bracelets. So many look good, prices vary but at the end of the day it’s personal comfort long term.

·

Here's some examples, straps are FAR more addicting than watches lol.

L to R : Watches of Espionage x ZuluAlpha, ZA OG orange, ZA 611 RAF, Felix Fund x ZA OG.

Waiting for a restock on the Multicam OG and his new leather/cordura variant.

Love the infinitely variable buckle, and the nylon is very good quality.

Also they have held up surprisingly well. They get switched to a lot of different watch heads, and worn for work in the heat, fold, etc, don't look too beat up yet.

Agreed. Haven't gotten a Blackbeard yet, but it's on the list.

If it wasn’t for you commenting on my post and me doing some research about the brand, you told me about I would never have known about them. I went on Sangin Instruments site and couldn’t find anything available for sale. Completely sold out. Went on eBay looking for one of their watches for sale to get an idea of $ & it was on one of these straps. I thought it was the coolest thing ever so I had to find out who the Frick they were.

Lol. Sorry, if you'd posted the question up, I'd have answered.

Weird thing about the Sangins, up until literally yesterday there were some Professionals for sale.

The ZuluAlpha's are really well designed and good straps. And while the single pass and RAF variants aren't "issued" style since they aren't sewn in, they are screwed in so definitely good enough for hard use.

The OG can be a lil fiddly to adjust and to don/doff, but once set it's good.

I think the buckle itself is similar to ones found on issued gear and/or older rifle slings in the UK MOD. Don't quote me on that though. Never really cared to acfually look it up.

Badass.

Yea man I like this nato. It’s fire. I mostly get affordable strap options so I don’t have anything to crazy but I am loving this strap by Max the cofounder of WatchCrunch . It’s a zero pass trap with a “NATO” style look. 😉https://www.anachronist.shop
