Actually it is 33mm !! It's a model 9797 from the Nineties. There's a similar Khaki field model produced to date.
It does take a few hours to adjust initially, because we are hardwired for larger dials today. Once adjusted, it's an unbelievable easy reader.

Wow - this would be perfect. The modern quartz equivalent I think is 40mm. I really wish we return to smaller and thinner ๐

I remember that I browsed the whole Hamilton line on a gray market seller (maybe it was Corso Vinci) and there was a 33 or 34 quartz on sale.
