Window shopping at Grand Seiko

Today I experienced the joys of being a cruncher in London. I was in the West End for lunch which finished early. That can only mean one thing...a quick stroll down New Bond Street to the Grand Seiko boutique.

I have been considering a GS manual wound spring drive. It ticks all the boxes - sub 40mm, less than 12mm thick, and those beautiful GS dials.

I tried three watches sbgy007, sbgy011 and the wild card non spring drive sbgw283.

For me it was the Omiwatari. Let me know what you think....

Stunning. I was in London at the weekend. I think we did every boutique on bond Street. Fantastic time(not you patek, you were rubbish). Especially loved JLC and Blancpain. Grand seiko was very good too. Love them dials.

The staff in Grand Seiko were very nice and helpful. I never even considered going into Patek.... Planning to wait until I get an OBE

Don't bother. Get a credor. Tried on a couple at the old seiko boutique. Stunning gold watches. (Not cheap)
