From the above-mentioned dial colors, I'd have to point out that purple looks like the most demanding one in terms of clothing. I feel like it wouldn't be a good daily watch.
Salmon is like rose gold, a nauseating tinge that flatters nothing. Purple, while not my color, is a statement and I can understand. Grey, not so much. Brown is the color of the year!
As much as I love brown leather, I can't say that I like brown dials. I haven't seen one in real life, so maybe it pops better than in pictures, but I just can't see the attractiveness of a brown dial.
I can't say I'm a huge fan of purple dials, but I already prefer that color over 70's brown.

My first watch was a Fossil chronograph in grey. Nothing fancy about the watch but I liked the grey dial, with a silver tricompax layout. Nostalgia I guess, but I like grey dials.
