Was walking around the mall and saw a watch shop and got interested so walked in, and after that, I could never stop Thinking about watches again.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Casio ILLUMINATOR that I got from Amazon for less than 20 bucks
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I love Blancpain, my father owns a beautiful one of 80 Limited edition blancapain flyback chronograph, but ever since he got a smart watch, he never wears it. It’s quite a pity that it just sits there collecting dust, but although I’d appreciate it much more than him, he can never give it to me.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Spend a ton of time researching before you get your first watch as there’s so much out there to pick from and don’t buy a watch the second you think you want it, because it might just be an impulse. I also recommend that you first get a boring watch, just a basic Three hand watch with no complication and desirably a plain dial this way, no matter what other watches you buy you always have a reliable, watch that you can always come back to and can’t go wrong with I personally recommend the Tudor ranger or Rolex oyster perpetual.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Blancpain fifty fathoms automatique in rose gold and the A.Lang & Sohe Odysseus.
I love them because they’re both luxury sports watches, and can be dressed up and down
