While they give off a vintage vibe, you find them on a modern watch from time to time. I love the look of the skinny metal holding the straps. Like, I am more drawn to Radiomir, probably the least popular line from Panerai's offering.
What do you guys think of the watch with wire lugs?

Hard agree….especially the Nomos!
Wire lugs look amazing on the right watch. I have a Vario 1918 trench.
2 of my watches have wire lugs, almost coincidentally - they weren't the reason I bought them. First I bought was the Nomos Metro Gangreserve, and the second was an H. Moser Heritage. Love them both, especially the 42mm Moser which wears way, way smaller than you'd expect from a 42mm.

Yeah, wire lugs makes the wearable dimensions much smaller.
