New watch day !
Couple of new Certina’s (that I almost certainly overpaid for , I need therapy ) . The one on my wrist is the automatic (2016) and the other a quartz(2022) . I need to download the instructions from somewhere. I wanted to have something chrono in my collection . And since I can’t afford a Rolex Daytona (not that these look like one ) I got two Certinas and a citizen for less than the cost of a second hand tag heur

I just like watches . Especially automatic , the technology dtill impresses me . I like to have numerals and not just bars . The whole day , not an abbreviation

I have owned a few Certinas they are great quality and high spec for the money can't go wrong with them in my humble opinion
Agree that we all need therapy and intervention.
I prefer the darker dial, but both are lookers.

I don’t suppose you might know here I could get an original replacement strap ? With the clasp mechanism and “Certina “ stamped on it ?

Perhaps just get a good quality aftermarket strap in my humble opinion Certinas straps are fair to middling at best and for 30-40 quid you could get much better from ukwatchstraps or time and tide

The strap on it isn’t bad . Just like the clasp of the original
I have the Automatic DS too, amazing watch, it has an controversial movement for some watch collectors, I love it.

I’ve been ended up with four certinas , and I think the auto is my favourite . And the chrono (that I paid the most for ) my least favourite because it’s just harder to read the time on
