Congrats! This has become my current favorite watch, hands down (no pun intended). I have pretty much neglected the rest of my collection since I got it. There's just something about it that pictures can't get across. Don't worry about the acrylic crystal, minor scratches come out easily and then it looks brand new. I actually just pre-ordered the Astra and can't wait. Prob going to grab a Gemini on the next release as well. Nice pick up!

Unless specifically holding up to the light, the micro swirls aren't terribly noticable.
If you do notice them, a once a week Polywatch treatment will work.
And it'll take years and years of polishing to wear away a noticeable amount.

I'll also add, that some years ago I was also like many, leery of acrylic.
And after giving it a go, AND realizing that really good digital "beater" watches also use acrylic/plastic, started to actually enjoy the differences.
Do I abstain from sapphire? Nope.
But I've realized everything has trade offs, in some instances the pros outweigh the cons of acrylic, and it looks different.
Really only other enthusiasts will notice, but the look/feel of a box/tophat acrylic actually looks/reads different in the flesh. Like to the point you can tell after wearing one for awhile.
