Hi community,
as you see on the image, I am looking at ta cwc sbs. On the webpage there are two versions that are very similar.
One is a real reissue (SF30-87) and the other is a new revision of the watch(SF300 QS120).
Based on the description there are hardly any differences. The only differences that I was able to find is:
60 click vs 120 click bezel
vintage lume vs white lume
Price...
Do you know any other differences? And which one of the two would you prefer, money aside.
I like the style of the reissue a bit more, but...
BR Daniel
Update:
I got a nice response from CWC in a very short time.
I like.
"The SBS 1987 is exactly the same spec as the regular SBS in terms of case and dimensions. Only difference is that it will have a Vintage luminova dial with T for historical representation and a one way luminous resin infused 60 click pvd coated bezel similar to the 1980. All divers watches are supplied with 20mm straps and this one will be supplied with a black 20mm/ matte black strap as advertised. "

Visually, the minute hands and bezel markers are different, but deeper than that, I don't know.
just drop them a note, I am sure you will get a speedy reply. I have the newest sbs ( no date version) and love it

Yeah, you're right... Quite obvious. I ll do. ,👍no matter what, will also be a no date for me. Style wise I like the 1987 a bit more. But I like both.

yeah the vintage one is a beauty.
I have a newer version and still considering a reissued version at some point. Great watch for the money.
They are both great watches, can’t go wrong with either. I like the newer version (which I believe is still issued today). For me the thicker hands and lumed bezel suit the 1980 reissue better.

I just read somewhere ( don't know where) that the 1987 version has a different bezel material. I just don't know what material. I asked CWC. Will update here, when they respond.
