I had exactly the same experience the first night I had mine. "Stop playing with your new watch and go to sleep." Wife then sighs in exasperation. All of a sudden I was 11 years old again. My brothers and I each got a Texas instruments LED watch for Christmas presents, and that night, our mother wound up yelling almost exactly the same thing at us because of us calling out the exact time to each other. "It's now 9:47pm." "Now it's 9:48pm." "Now it's 9:49pm" "Now it's..." "Stop playing with your new watches and go to sleep!" 😀

I've gotta get used to it lol I have turned my wrist several times to look at it and see nothing, but black.
If reminds me of when my brother and I shared a room as a kid and we had a faux wood grain alarm clock in our room. I remember many nights just staring at those red digits and waiting on them to change. It is something awesome that this little digital display can take you back to a place in time. It may not be your most cherished memory, but for a second you relive those childhood moments.
