What are your thoughts and opinions on these forums?

I was just wondering what does everyone here think of watch forums like Timezone and Watchprosite? For those who are not aware these are higher end watch forums that mainly deal with luxury brands like Rolex, Patek, Breguet, F.P Journe etc. I’m a member of one not gonna say which and no I don’t own any higher end luxury watches if you saw my previous thread you know why. For the most part no one there seems to care if someone had a $100 G-Shock or a $100k Perpetual Calendar. Now this isn’t to say some don’t look down on those who can’t afford a watch costing as much as a house. I was actually afraid to even sign up or show off my watches but surprisingly they were very nice.

I've been on Timezone since 2005 and find it very informative. It's true that it has heavy luxury watch content but welcomes all contributors and ranges of watches. I'm not familiar with Watchprosite.

I've been a member of many forums, some still around and many long gone.

Currently active here and a couple others.

Glad you had a great experience. I know of one, YouTube channel that sometimes can come off snobbish. I don't think they do it on purpose but sometimes you can just tell they have this snobby vibe to them.

You Tube channels are vastly different from watch fora.

If you separate the noise from the signal all these forums are good. Watch people are generally nice. Unless you are talking on reddit...
