I endured an insane artic blast outside in order to take these photos. But it was worth it! #glashutteoriginal #germanwatches #rosegold #senatorchronometer #manualwind #marinechronometer #aaronbespoke #wruw

You should put a coat on the GO. We don't want it to get sick. Stay warm Paul. Thanks for going above and beyond.

Hahaha!! You have me imagining some sort of high-end LV leather case that surrounds the sides of a watch head and keeps it safe from doors and other objects. I might need to play around with DALL•E AI generated images to help me conceptualize this idea. Oh Craig, what have you done!!

Love the date window, gorgeous blue hands, the Roman numerals and the perfect gold case. Wow!

Thank you for all those compliments, Sameer. I truly cherish this watch for its elegance and simplicity. It is another example of watch that is truly transformed when exposed to good sunlight outdoors.

Wished I had the money and also the wrist to pull this off 😂

Eh, I don’t think your wrist is much smaller than mine, and it’s not gargantuan on me (at least in my opinion). Plus, the shorter downturned lugs make it wear smaller than other watches of similar diameter. I know it’s all about personal preference, and you might just prefer smaller watches, which I get. My most worn watches are 37-39mm: Daytona, BB54, YM37, BB58. Then I stretch to 40 for my GS (Grand Seiko) and 42 for my GO (Glashütte Original). But German watches hold a special place in my heart, so I forgive the slightly larger dimensions because I love the design, movement finishing, and value for money. Anyway, rant over! I love your CW Twelve, by the way. I really need to get one for myself this year! Have a great rest of your week! Cheers

That's true. I do need to try one on and figure out how I'm going to sell my kidney for it. Jokes aside, I did try the GO Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date and I loved it! I also love your GO Senator Chronometer, I'm pretty sure it's the one with the jumping minute hand and zeroes the second hand during setting? Awesome complication that I think is super underrated, don't know why so few brands do it.

Yep, you’re absolutely right about how the caliber 58-01 works! It’s literally my favorite watch to set, as I’m always waiting to hack the seconds at 12 o’clock, then set my watch to the reference time. When I saw that Glashütte Original in the case, my salesman explained its operation. After setting the time myself, I instantly fell in love. I’m extremely fortunate to have been able to buy it on the spot, and I’m fully aware of how blessed I am to be in that position. I love the Seventies Chronograph too! I tried it on the same day I bought the Senator Chronometer, but since I’m so used to the slimmer profile of my Daytona, I couldn’t pull the trigger. However, the Seventies Chrono offers an insane amount of features for the money. If they had still had the ‘Ocean Breeze’ dial variant, my decision might have been different!

Love Glashütte Original as a rule - but even more in Rose Gold. Thanks for sharing pics of your awesome watch!
