I have no idea. never thought about it. I guess if I had to pick (which would probably NOT be what people around me think of me) would be my $100 Fossil that I wear to work. It hasn't let me down except when the battery dies, which is no biggie. it's cheap, simple, and takes a beating. it just plain works. My wife, i believe, does not think for 1 sec that I fit that image.
Since I'm hard on watches, I usually take my Fossil. But lately, It's been pretty quiet so I have been wearing one of my Vinceros. Love the look and feel.
guess it kinda depends on what ya all consider a serious watch purchase...
$200, $2000, $20000?
if anything over 1k is serious, then I'm out. it'll be awhile before I can throw money at something that I know I won't wear as much as my others. Especially to work or doing hobbies. js. ;)
May i ask the obvious newb question…
what classifies a watch as a homage to Rolex? The look? The feel? The movement? I always wanted a rolex until I went to an AD and got turned off to the purchase of a real one. I’d be fine with a Fake since most folks around here would think I was a drug dealer to afford a real Rolex. Lol.
