If you have an itch to buy a new watch, which is usually there during every new watch release. Just try to change the watch strap of your old watch, that might scratch the itch for sometime.
That's what I thought, too, so I bought a few cheap straps from CNS. Then I realized that I bought one with mismatching hardware, but I really liked the red and the black "Ducati" look. I tried it out on a couple of my watches to make it work, but it just wouldn't work out.
So... I bought a brand new Casio GA-B2100BNR-1A, so it would have the black and red to go well with the strap. To also make the strap work, I needed to buy a pair of 16mm to 22mm adapters. This also goes against my new year's resolution that I wasn't supposed to buy another watch this year.
This way it may work for sometime but there is an other way as well. Its worth to have a look for a watch in the price of the new strap, used, homage or even a broken one and spend sometime researching how to get it work :)
