So yeah, seeing as a big majority voted for the Wise Asura I bowed to the inevitable and bought one. So yeah, I bought the grey dial, the red is a bit too exciting for me.
Surprise surprise, Wise gave a discount of $140 so yeah, I even got it at the same price point as the Visitor Duneshore Shallows! Woohoo! 🎉
So yeah, we'll wait until July for my dressy watch to arrive.

The grey one with Thai numerals. Yes, yes, I can hear the questions of why didn't I pick the red dial? It pops and would be an interesting conversation starter!
My parry being, I intend to make this my main dress-y watch and grey being a neutral colour gives me more options when coordinating with the rest of my outfit. It being 100m WR makes me feel better (Malaysian thing, we eat food using our hands so yeah, a watch with more WR means less worry when washing hands before and after eating).
Bonus points, I have a good watch to wear to go to a funeral (Chinese, Japanese, East Asians and South East Asians will understand my not wearing anything red to a funeral).

Nice choice. You have a really cool purple dial already so a red dial would be redundant. Don't ever apologize for mono chromatic dials and watches. They are timeless, classic and cool.
