This bit of lyric should describe my relationship with watches.
"I don't know much but I know I love you
And that may be all I need to know."

How I got started to apreciate watches? By my dad. How I started to get into collecting in my 40s? Blame the stroke that ruined the fine motor skills in my right hand and the money I saved for a new gaming rig.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Swatch (don't ask what model, I can't remember). I remember my second watch more, a Tag Heuer quartz.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Nothing so far.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you are interested in, make sure that is the watch you want, research and look around before buying. Also don't bankrupt yourself buying a watch.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
A couple of microbrands like Zelos and Boldr.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
The Titoni Seascoper 600. Yes, it's only $2k for the basic SS model but the design really grabbed my attention. Not to mention Titoni has a lot of cachet in South East Asia.
