Certina DS action diver 38mm

I’m seriously considering getting the DS action diver in 38mm for my collection (I nedd a dive watch). What are your thoughts on this piece ?

Go for it! Certinas are great! And i think the 38mm is a pretty good size for a diver.

Do it! I’m going to pick up the 43mm myself…too much watch for the money not too

I took a look at the 38mm titanium with blue indices last month. I have a small(er) wrist about 6.5" (166mm). It wore a little small on my wrist compared to other 38mm divers I have but didn't look tiny. The bezel had nice action and the colorway was different and unique in my opinion. The major reason I didn't get it was the 19mm lug width. If it was 20mm between the lugs I would have bought it.

I have other variants of the Powermatic 80 in my Hamiltons and it's a solid movement I'd trust with my life.

Try it on and see if you like it!

I have the titanium version and I think it is an amazing watch - my favorite diver.

I don’t know another option with such quality, brand recognition and looks for the price.

Thanks a lot for your input guys, this community is amazing🙌🏼🔥

I guess the reason I’m hesitating is that I’m torn between pulling the trigger on the certina or adding a little bit of money and going for the CW C60 Trident pro 300 in 38mm as well.

Thanks for the advice my friend !

Only super positive things to say about my Certina diver. And I love the diver's extension for on-the-fly adjustments.

I love mine.

I had the two tone blue gold and later the blue variations. For me it was the perfect size on my 17.5cm wrist. Also the quality maybe one of the best you can get in this price range. Go and grab a used one. If you dont like it you can easily sell it again.

I have the 43mm in Black. It’s great watch with superb timekeeping!

Like your style - appreciated

I have two of these, just bought the 43mm black one, does not wear big. I would advise to really go try it on, the 38mm wears very small, but if that is your thing, go for it of course!
