My first build
This is my first build of three. Didn't take photos of the later two for some reason. Did some mistakes, as expected. It really looks easy on the YT videos but it's fiddly. Broke of the counter balance on the seconds hand. And (as you can spot in the latter picture) I didn't align the minute hand with the hour hand. The moment is a Seiko NH35A.

I've been looking at parts on Ali Express to build a watch myself, figured that's where I could get the parts cheap so if it doesn't work I'm not wasting too much money. I never did though, kudos for giving it a go.

Next project is a field-ish watch. I haven't decided on what movement to use. Probably the NH35 again. I'll definitely want to try a GMT in the future.
I have a dial and some hands waiting for me in the mailbox when I'm home from vacation. I will use a sports watch case I already have and "borrow" the movement from the Pepsi-Seiko above. Not sure when I will have the time to assemble. I'll post sone pictures of my new build when it's done. 😀

Saw one similar to this on Etsy and they wanted £250+
Just proves not only can you save money doing it yourself, but enjoy doing it which for me is the kick outta building/ repairing modding etc
Great build and don’t forget you can change a second hand, hey that may have broke for a reason ie a red or blue second hand would compliment your bezel choice 🤔
It’s for sure a learning process for everyone so don’t feel bad. Snip that steam and polish this bad boy off
