What’s your most under appreciated watch?

Mine is easy. It’s the Glycine Combat Sub. Swiss ETA 2824 movement with a 4Hz beat rate, sapphire crystal, 200m water resistance, screw down crown, great bezel action, great proportions and wearing experience, and it’s under 11mm thick! It’s also my most accurate watch running at +1 sec/day on a regular basis. All for around $350 USD! It’s almost robbery buying this watch at this price. I have other, more prestigious dive watches, so this Glycine doesn’t get the love it deserves…but it deserves a lot of love!

Davosa Swiss Argonautic for many of the same reasons you said on yours. Great value and so comfortable I end up wearing it a lot more than my expensive pieces

Violently agreeing - I always recommend this on a value basis.

It can often be picked up for under $300 which is pretty amazing. And given the thinness and great fit with the curvature of the lugs it’s almost a dive/field watch hybrid.

Love mine heaps.

I have the bronze version and paid about the same. What I love is it is 42mm but it actually wears like a 39.5 or 40mm

·

That's a beautiful looking watch. Kudos.

The wearing experience is worth the price of admission everytime!

Third to the Glycine Combat Sub.

Great watches ,lets see if they get ruined now that Invicta owns them....I hope not

·

I have the same watch and similar great accuracy....such an underappreciated brand, mainly because their recent purchase by the Invicta Group seemed to have disrupted their distribution and branding. I picked mine up at a Jomashop sale for $285....an incredible value for a swiss watch with a good pedigree.

They’ve been owned by Invicta since 2016, and the quality hasn’t diminished at all. Invicta helps with marketing and distribution, but otherwise, Glycine is still on its own.
