Longines AD in Hong Kong
Walked into the Longines AD in Kowloon to have a look at my favorite Longines watches. I was hoping that after trying them, I would be able to lose interest. 2 out of 3 aint bad. I am still in love with the Legend diver 39 on the bracelet. I reluctantly gave them back and promised to come back to drool on them again before I go home from this trip.

I had the LLD39 on the wrist too, I don't know why, but it did not make me feel anything. Why is that? I was really looking forward to see it in flesh and I kinda hyped myself to it.

I am in the I like vintage watches stage of this hobby and so having a diver that looks like it is from the 60s appeals to me. Also 6.5" wrist means this looks just right for me.

It's very elegant, slim and the bracelet is just... I don't know, it feels almost delicate.
Absolutely not what I expected.
It's like a dress watch, but pretending to be a compressor style dive watch.
Agree with you in that the bracelet makes it look dressy. But if I get it out would live with mostly different straps. Easy enough to make it look like the OG 7042 😄
