Happy Easter and #nwa! This Timex Waterbury caught my eye way back in 2022 when the bug first bit me. Many purchases and refinements in taste later, I found that I still wanted it, and this seemed like an appropriately joyous occasion for so much color. The Lord is risen indeed!

Exactly my justification! TBH, this one lives in my head as a Christmas watch because the colors remind me of Christmas lights, but when it went on sale, I thought: it can be Easter Eggs too!

This is my fifth Timex, I think, and I hear ya! Waited for this to drop to $148 before I felt comfortable pulling the trigger. Bought it 100% for the looks and am not at all disappointed on that count. Overall doesn’t quite get to “great,” and I personally wouldn’t want to have spent a full 200 for it, but that’s awfully subjective. Another consideration, of course, is that this will definitely be only an occasional wear for me, so I was more reluctant to spend money than I would be on something for the regular rotation. But what a looker this is, right?!
