19-year-old student in the English Midlands with a low-budget collection.
Got into watches while researching Soviet timepieces, still have a love for USSR watches.
Getting more interested in stepping up the quality of my collection.
Started looking into old Soviet watches, learnt about different watches and their features and movements while doing my research, and then just fell in love.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Sekonda that I bought for about £70 saving from my first job at 13 years old, shortly followed by a Casio digital.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My Armani Exchange watch, a monster of a watch with a 45mm dial, but one that I got from my great-grandad after he died, one of the few I'll never sell.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't buy everything you see, buy what you love, and don't be scared to buy second-hand.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Boldr Supply Co. and Brew have both been catching my eye.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
A Grand Seiko SLGH013, with the ice pattern dial. Grand Seiko is just far and away my favourite watch brand, and this one in particular really does it for me.
